The Role
We are hiring a B2B Social Media Sales Representative to manage inbound leads, run discovery calls, deliver proposals, close new business, and ensure smooth onboarding handoffs to our fulfillment team. The role also includes local Houston networking events and in-person client meetings as needed.
This role offers a competitive hourly base plus performance-based commission, with significant earning potential for someone who is organized, disciplined, and confident speaking with CEOs and brand owners.
This is not a passive sales role. We are seeking a closer who thrives in high-ticket service sales and knows how to turn interest into revenue. Leads come in daily, and the ability to respond promptly and follow through consistently is essential.
This role requires full professional focus and undivided commitment. We are not considering candidates who currently own or operate their own business or side venture of any kind, regardless of industry or scope. Candidates running competing services in social media, marketing, advertising, or related fields will not be considered. Houston-based candidates only, as this role requires local account visibility when/if needed and Houston culture knowledge.
What You’ll Do
- Handle all inbound leads from the company website, referrals, phone, and social channels.
- Conduct Zoom and phone discovery calls and lead value-based conversations.
- Deliver tailored proposals and guide pricing discussions.
- Close new business and maintain consistent pipeline activity.
- Respond to leads within 24 hours, every time.
- Manage CRM records and update lead status accurately.
- Coordinate proposal preparation with leadership as needed.
- Attend onboarding meetings to ensure smooth client handoff to the account management team.
- Represent Social Behavior at local Houston networking events and in-person meetings.
- Sell high-ticket retainers, influencer campaigns, and a la carte creative services.
What You Bring
- A demonstrated track record of closing in a previous sales role (B2B preferred, any industry considered).
- Confidence speaking with CEOs and senior decision makers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong follow-through and pipeline management discipline.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
- A working understanding of digital marketing and social media fundamentals.
- Resilience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle objections in real time.
- The ability to manage your own schedule while still hitting consistent results.
- Houston-area residency.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly base of $25.
- Part-time at 20 hours per week or full-time 40 hours available based on candidate fit.
- Choice of W2 bi-weekly payroll or 1099 independent contractor classification.
- Performance-based commission structure on closed sales, uncapped.
- High earning potential for strong performers. (Strong performers make $25,000+ per year in bonus commissions.)
- Fully self-managed schedule with firm expectations around lead response times and pipeline activity, and monthly minimum sales.
